Motor vehicles taxes

Vehicles and boats tax – annual motor vehicles and boats taxes and fees required for registration.

The following are exempt from payment of the annual tax on vehicles and boats:

• Heads of mission and members of the senior management (IO) (holders of a “B” legitimation card)
• Diplomatic agents (PM) and high ranking officials (IO) (holders of a “C” legitimation card),
• Administrative and technical staff members (PM) and officials in professional category (IO) (holders of a “D” legitimation card),
• Family members who enjoy the same status as the principal accredited person.

All other categories are required to pay the tax.

Taxes and fees

All holders of a legitimation card, regardless of their status, are required to pay the taxes and fees required for the registration of a vehicle or a boat.
