Ban on certain types of laser pointers in Switzerland

The Swiss Mission would like to remind permanent missions and international organisations that possessing, importing, or transiting with dangerous laser pointers is strictly prohibited within Swiss territory.

Customs clearance for parcels sent by Swiss Post and express courier

Customs clearance procedures for parcels sent by Swiss Post or express courier applicable to the permanent missions and international organisations (including staff).

Importation of a vehicle

Regulations governing customs privileges concerning motor vehicles applicable to the staff of the permanent missions (PM) and of the international organisations (IO), resident in Switzerland.

Duty free shop

A duty-free shop for members of personnel of the permanent missions and international organisations with diplomatic status, as well as foreign delegates and experts on mission with diplomatic status.

Customs privileges

Regime of customs privileges applicable to the permanent missions, the international organisations and to the members of their personnel domiciled in Switzerland.
